Are you ready to Ramble? Walk This Way!

The Rector and Revd Helen invite you to sponsor them or come and join them on The Rector’s Ramble on Saturday 8thJune 2019 as they walk between Bickerton, Malpas and Threapwood Churches. 

 On a mission to share community spirit and raise funds for The United Benefice of St Oswald’s, Malpas with St John’s, Threapwood and Holy Trinity Bickerton – Canon Davenport and Revd Helen Molesworth are looking for sponsors as they split up to join in a community walk along two routes from Threapwood and Bickerton to Malpas.

“We are hoping everyone will join or sponsor us in this community walk,” says Chris Whitehurst who is working with Rachael Reeves, Sue Norwood and others to prepare for the event.

If you would like to join in and collect your own sponsors for our local churches – you can choose between a longer or shorter walk:

Route 1meets at Bickerton Village Hall at 9.30 am and is approximately 8 miles.  Route 2meets at St John’s Church in Threapwood at 10.30 am and is around 4.5 miles. The walks will end at St Oswald’s Church in Malpas for refreshments.
