Dixie or Me?

What happens when a football loving man marries a football hating woman? Dave and Holly argue every weekend and many Tuesday nights. Dave’s friend Vicar Joe, cancels weddings if they clash with Wrexham’s home matches – which doesn’t go down well with The Bishop.

It is the 1977 -78 season; Dixie McNeil is king – Bill Shankly says Wrexham is the best team he’d ever seen outside the top division.

Will Dave save his marriage or will Vicar Joe lose his job?

What happens when Holly gives Dave the final ultimatum: ‘Who do you love the most?”

This hilarious live production has already been enjoyed by women, men, football lovers, football haters and even neutrals, plus lovers of good theatre who have no interest in sport at all.  After all, we all have an obsession for something or other. Don’t we?
